I’m a book addict.
Ever since I started reading at the impressionable age of 5, I was hooked. I couldn’t get enough. Every trip to the library resulted in stacks and stacks of books to pore over when I would get home. I religiously watched shows like Wishbone and Reading Rainbow, learning story after story in any form I could get it
Fast forward many years later, and I still geek out over books. It doesn’t really matter the genre. Classics. Thrillers. Mysteries. Historical Fiction. Nonfiction.
I’m also obsessed with journals and writing. I love watching YouTube channels about journaling. I love skimming Pinterest for aesthetically-pleasing journals completely filled with ink scribbles.
So I decided to start a blog and share my favorite books and my obsession with journaling with the world. I hope you find it as fun and enjoyable as I do!
Fun Facts About Me
- I’m an English teacher with a dream of becoming a writer (isn’t that every English teacher’s dream though?)
- I used to ride horses as a young girl and I hope to do that again
- I am a Christian, and that does govern some of my reading choices
- I can somewhat speak a foreign language (Spanish) and hope to learn several more
- I’m working on my first novel (I still don’t even know what it’s about)

This is a scary thing to start a blog, but I’m gong to give it a try. The plan is to post at least once a week. Maybe more if this thing picks up traction. I know that you’re supposed to narrow down the genre you want to blog about, but I just can’t decide on one. So it’s going to be a lot of random genres, indie authors, mainstream authors, anything and everything.
I plan to add other content revolving around my language learning journey, journaling, and my writing journey. And whatever creative/bookish hobbies I pick up along the way.
